What We Learned Selling Coffee at the Farmers Market This Summer
Cooper SteeleShare
This summer, we took Jacked Coffee from the roaster to the streets — showing up every week at our local farmers markets with one mission: serve up bold, fresh, locally roasted coffee and connect with real people.
And we learned a lot.
1. Coffee Is a Conversation Starter
It wasn’t just about caffeine. People wanted to know our story. Who roasts it? What’s in it? Why the name “Don’t Talk to Me Yet”? We found out our brand is the vibe — and it’s resonating.
2. Everyone Has a Favorite Roast
Some people want flavor explosions like Jamaican Bobsled Track. Others want that deep, dark grind from Heat Check. And yes — a lot of folks asked for decaf, especially for evening sips. So we listened.
3. There's Power in Showing Up
Nothing beats face-to-face. Selling in person helped us build a tribe. We collected emails, got real-time feedback, and saw smiles when people tried something new.
Where We’re Headed Next
We're working on new roasts, dialing in decaf, and doubling down on building our community. If you met us this summer, thank you — you're the reason we do this.
